Why We Started

Linked by decades of friendship and many years as colleagues, Trevor and Feras came together in 2023 to build a business that could do more.

Driven by the desire to work together again, our managing partners merged their combined staffing and technical solutions expertise, as well as learnings from previous ventures, to work towards a new vision: building a national Indigenous technology solutions company.

Our team at Morningstar Technology Solutions Inc. provides top tier Microsoft 365 solutions, managed quality assurance and testing services, as well as staff augmentation services. We do this to empower our clients, further our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation, and work towards a brighter future.

Trevor Pidcock

Trevor Pidcock

President & Managing Partner

Technology Services Executive. Invested in growing Indigenous opportunities.

As a proud Métis person, Trevor’s heritage and identity are traced back to his ancestors of the Red River settlement in Manitoba – now Winnipeg. Trevor credits his Mother for his strong connection to his Métis identity today. Growing up in the Lower Mainland, he knew of his Métis heritage, however, it wasn't until the final decade of his mother’s life, through her guidance and her teachings about their family’s history and traditions that he connected to his roots and culture and identified as Métis.

Trevor has substantial experience in delivering technology services and solutions for over 20 years working as an executive for one of Canada’s largest IT recruiting and contract services companies. An expert in complex contract management, he has built a career working extensively with both public and private sector organizations across Canada.

Trevor is committed to creating and promoting opportunities for Indigenous people through diversity initiatives and advocating for Canadian Truth and Reconciliation. He is a member of the External Advisory Committee working with the Indigenous Procurement Initiative for the BC Government co-led by the Ministry of Citizens’ Services (CITZ) and Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation (MIRR), which is committed to increasing Indigenous Peoples’ participation in BC Government procurement opportunities.

Beyond the boardroom, you'll find Trevor engaged in various pursuits among family and friends; Volunteering, hockey, golf, his dogs, lifting heavy objects, and picking up his guitar every now and then.
